*Indians Take 3-1 World Series Lead over Cubs:

The Cleveland Indians defeated the Chicago Cubs on Saturday night, 7-2, in game 4 of the World Series to take a three-games-to-one series lead. The Indians are one win away from clinching their first World Series championship since 1948. The Cubs have struggled offensively throughout the series; they are just 5 for 37 with runners in scoring position. The team is batting .204, including 39 strikeouts, against a lights-out Indians pitching staff. Game 5 will be played on Sunday night in Chicago. If the Cubs win, the series heads back to Cleveland.

*Hillary Clinton Fires Back at FBI Director During Florida Rally:

Hillary Clinton did not shy away from discussing FBI DirectorJames Comey‘s October surprise during a rally in Daytona Beach, Florida on Saturday, calling his decision to send an ambiguous letter to Congress pertaining to the investigation of her emails just 11 days before the election “not just strange” but also “unprecedented and deeply troubling.” Clinton added, “Voters deserve to get full and complete facts,” reiterating her call to get everything “on the table” immediately. The Democratic candidate also went after her Republican opponent Donald Trump for spreading “lies” about the letter. “He is doing his best to confuse, mislead and discourage the American people,” she told her supporting. “I think it’s time for Donald Trump to stop fear mongering, to stop disgracing himself, to stop attacking our democracy. We can’t let him get away with this, can we?”

*MY REVIEW: “The main stream media is so f–king biased that it makes me want to scream. The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN are liberal, hack media outlets. Fox News is a conservative sound machine. What I love about LBN is that it is fearlessly independent! —–Melanie S., an LBN reader in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

*Jose Fernandez Had Alcohol, Cocaine in His System:

Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez was under the influence of alcohol and cocaine when he died in a boating accident last month, according to a toxicology report. An attorney for the Fernandez family said Fernandez, 24, was not at the helm of the boat when it crashed. Fernandez was drunk well above the legal limit, while his two friends, who also perished in the accident, were not.

*LBN-INVESTIGATES: Donald J. Trump has slowly but surely improved his standing in state and national polls since the final presidential debate. A New York Times Upshot/Siena poll released Sunday is consistent with that trend: It gives Mr. Trump a four-point lead in Florida, 46 percent to 42 percent, in a four-way race. In our first poll of Florida a month ago, Mr. Trump trailed Hillary Clinton by a percentage point.

*6.6-Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Central Italy:

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake rocked central Italy on Sunday, the United States Geological Survey said. The epicenter was 6 kilometers north of Norcia, where emergency services said sixpeople were rescued from the rubble. Early reports said there were no deaths or injuries. Italy has been hit with a string of powerful earthquakes and aftershocks since a tremor in late August destroyed the town of Amatrice, killing nearly 300 people. Historic structures in the region—many of which are centuries old—have been badly damaged or completely destroyed in the recent string of earthquakes, including two powerful tremors of 5.5 and 6.1 last week. Sunday’s quake is believed to be the strongest to hit the country in 36 years. The Daily Beast’s Barbie Nadeau, who lives in Rome, said the earthquake was powerful enough to knock glasses off of her kitchen shelf. Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi pledged to rebuild the affected areas, writing on Twitter: “These villages are the soul of Italy.”

*EU, Canada Sign Trade Pact:

The European Union and Canada officially signed a long-delayed trade pact on Sunday, two days after all 28 EU member states endorsed the agreement. The deal, the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement or CETA, was negotiated for seven years. It almost derailed last week when Belgium’s Wallonia region vetoed the agreement due to weak labor protections and other concerns. Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel stepped in and negotiated a separate deal to address those issues. The deal will eliminate almost all tariffs and is considered the gold standard for similar agreements in the future.

*LBN-COMMENTARY by GARRY KASPAROV: For the last few weeks, the Republican nominee for president, Donald J. Trump, has been talking a lot about how the Nov. 8 election is rigged against him. In fact, he sounds convinced that the entire campaign season is rigged in favor of his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton. These are serious charges, or they would be if Mr. Trump had any idea what he was talking about. Nobody in the American political establishment is happy about Mr. Trump’s wild-eyed accusations of voter fraud and media conspiracies because they understand that it undermines their own credibility as leaders in a democracy. This is exactly why my country’s leader, Vladimir V. Putin, is so delighted by Mr. Trump’s charges. n power for 16 years now, Mr. Putin and his global propaganda machine aggressively promote the idea that democracy is a chaotic mess that only the hero Putin can save Russia from falling into. Social media is flooded by Kremlin-funded trolls ranting about the illegitimacy of the American election process and warning of the potential for violence. To have a major party nominee in America repeating this propaganda is beyond Mr. Putin’s wildest dreams. Mr. Trump even echoes Mr. Putin’s authoritarian rationales, presenting himself as the only one who can rescue America. I know a few things about rigged elections. I know what it’s like to have the overwhelming power of the state used against me to make a mockery of the democratic process. I know what it means to have my opinion censored while every major media outlet is dedicated to vilifying me and my colleagues. I know what happens when a conspiracy of public and private interests forms to intimidate, harass, prosecute and even kill in order to preserve a monopoly on power.

*LBN-COMMENTARY by Bill O’Reilly: The simple fact is that no one can predict this election with any certainty. It could be that Hillary Clinton will win by double-digits and set off rapture in media circles. Or Donald Trump could eke by on the strength of his pitchfork brigades, sending the media elite into spasms of emotional distress. That is a delicious thought for any of you afflicted by that common malady known as schadenfreude. To sum it up, you can say the coverage is way, way skewed, maybe even ‘rigged.’ And you can say that the wheels of justice hit a major pothole on the Hillary Highway. But the pollsters? They’re basically trying to get it right so they can live to poll another day.   Once again, this has been an election unlike any other, and we will never see anything remotely similar in the future. For that fact alone most Americans are extremely thankful. And you sure don’t need a poll to reach that conclusion.

*LBN-COMMMENTARY by Robert Kotler, MD: Obamacare should be named ExpensiveCare. It was named Obamacare for political purposes by the fathers of the program, the insurance industry. Their puppets in Congress enacted it without reading it. The insurance industry had two aims. First, to sell health insurance to every American; wouldn’t every business like to have 330 million customers?  Second, to increase profitability by selling policies with high deductibles, $5-$10,000, and high co-pays, up to 70%.  What a curse. Plus, We the People pay for Senators’ and Congressmen’s free, low-deductible, low co-pay , gold-plated policies. Only the best for our royalty. Surprised?
