*North Korea Threatens to Detonate Bomb in Pacific Ocean
North Korea’s foreign minister threatened Friday to detonate a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean, as tensions continue to escalate between the hermetic East Asian nation and the United States. “It could be the most powerful detonation of an H-bomb in the Pacific,” said Ri Yong Ho, the foreign minister, according to South Korean state news agency Yonhap. “We have no idea about what actions could be taken as it will be ordered by leader Kim Jong Un.” Kim called President Donald Trump “mentally deranged” Thursday after the president, during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, threatened to “totally destroy” North Korea.
*Inside the twisted revenge porn site that’s ruining women’s lives:
Lisa M. can’t walk around her hometown without wondering who has seen her naked. The 28-year-old from Gardner, Mass., was only 17 when her then-boyfriend snapped a couple of topless photos of her when she wasn’t looking. She loved him, trusted him and had no idea he even owned a camera. Years later, the pictures would surface online and spread all over her tiny hometown. “To see those online was just like a total betrayal of trust, and on top of that, there’s nothing you can do about it — it’s just there, and you can’t take it down, and you don’t know who’s seen it,” she said. The pictures had been posted to the website Anon-IB, a k a Anonymous Image Board, one of the world’s main online promoters of revenge porn — intimate photos that are uploaded typically by a former sex partner and without the subject’s consent. Anon-IB is where naked pictures of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence surfaced in 2014 and where dozens of male Marines posted illicit photos of female comrades earlier this year. And it’s the site where thousands of other women — including underage girls — are exploited daily for twisted reasons ranging from perversion to revenge to financial gain.
*Rouhani Lashes Back at Trump, as Iran Unveils New Missile:
Escalating a war of words with the United States, President Hassan Rouhani of Iran declared on Friday that his country would continue to develop new missiles and “would not seek anyone’s permission to defend our land.” As he spoke at a military parade in Tehran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps unveiled a ballistic missile with a range of about 1,250 miles, making it capable of reaching much of the Middle East, including Israel. Mr. Rouhani’s nationally televised speech at the parade — which commemorates the Iran-Iraq War of 1980-88 — and the show of force were a direct display of defiance toward President Trump, who signed a bill in August imposing mandatory penalties on those involved in Iran’s ballistic missile program and anyone who does business with them. Although United Nations provisions seek to limit ballistic missile technology, the nuclear agreement negotiated in 2015 by Iran and six world powers, including the United States, does not prohibit Iran from developing such weapons.
*New Bill Clinton Novel to Be Made Into Showtime Series
Showtime is set to turn an upcoming novel written by Bill Clinton and James Patterson into a TV series, the network has announced. The novel, titled The President Is Missing, is due for publication in June 2018 and the network has beat out other film studios and networks to acquire the rights. Described by Showtime as the “startling story” of a sitting U.S. president’s disappearance, the book marks the first time a former U.S. president has co-authored a thriller. The series will be Clinton’s first book-to-screen adaptation after writing three books since his departure from the White House in 2001. Details on the plot are scarce, but a statement announcing the joint effort back in May promised “insider details that only a president can know.” “Though fictional, the story brings to life the pressures and realities of the most important position in the world,” Showtime said in a statement released Friday.

*BEWARE – Sessions Warns of ‘Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing’ Among Unaccompanied Minors
Attorney General Jeff Sessions warned law-enforcement agencies that unaccompanied minors trying to get into the U.S. should be seen as “wolves in sheep’s clothing.” In a speech to local and national officers in Boston on Thursday afternoon, Sessions said major gangs like MS-13 use an unaccompanied-minors program that has been around since 1980 “as a means by which to recruit new members,” Politico reports. “This is America. We will not allow the likes of MS-13 or any other gang to prey upon our communities, to decapitate individuals with machetes, baseball bats and chains,” Sessions said.
*Jerry Lewis disinherited five of his children
Jerry Lewis left nothing to any of his children from his first marriage in his last will and testament. The comedian, who passed away in August at 91, explicitly excluded sons Gary Lewis, Ronald Lewis, Anthony Joseph Lewis, Christopher Joseph Lewis and Scott Anthony Lewis, whom he shared with first wife Patti Palmer, from inheriting anything from his estate, documents obtained by The Blast revealed. Lewis also noted that son Joseph, also from his first marriage, is deceased, having died of a drug overdose in 2009. Lewis was married to Palmer from 1944 until 1980. The sole beneficiaries of Lewis’ estate are his second wife, SanDee, whom he married in 1983, and their daughter Danielle, 25, whom they adopted together in 1992.
